Tennis inks Fayetteville product

Fayetteville, Arkansas (February 7, 2012) — Colton Cheek, son of Kelly Cheek and the late William Clark Cheek, has committed to play tennis for John Brown University beginning in the fall of 2012. 

Cheek played for Fayetteville (Ark.) High School for the past four years.  Fayetteville was 7A State Runner-up and 7A West Conference Champions both his junior and senior year.  Cheek played number two doubles and made it to the semi-finals of conference and semi-finals of the state tournament.  He also played singles throughout the season.

Cheek will enroll at JBU in the fall of 2012 and is planning on majoring in pre-med.
