(March 8, 2004) - (Little Rock-AP) -- A state taskforce studying racial profiling will meet for the first time today. The taskforce was created by the Legislature. The panel plans public hearings on racial profiling and will make recommendations to Governor Huckabee by November First. Taskforce member Dale Charles, who is president of the N-Double-A-C-P in Arkansas, says the first meeting will likely be organizational. The group plans to meet this afternoon in Little Rock.
