(March 23, 2004) - (Fayetteville-AP) -- Kiplinger's Personal Finance ranks the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville as one of the best values for public colleges. Arkansas was ranked 45th nationally and seventh among S-E-C schools. The list takes into account university quality, cost and average debt after graduation. The report, which was published this month, relies on information from Peterson's 2002-2003 Annual Survey of Undergraduate Institutions. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Virginia were ranked first and second, respectively.
