JBU Women's Soccer Recruits Seven Athletes

Siloam Springs, Ark (February 12, 2003) — John Brown University women’s soccer coach Joe Thoma announces the signing of seven high school athletes for the coming season. Signing with coach Thoma on or around national signing day were the following soccer players: Rebecca Armstrong, a 5’7 midfielder from Mesquite, Texas. Armstrong played for North Mesquite High School and also the Genesis soccer club. Jessica Roberts, a 5’8 goalkeeper from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Jessica played for Broken Arrow High School and the Tulsa soccer club. Tara Hachmeister, a 5’9 forward from Plano, Texas. Tara played for Plano East High School and the Andromeda soccer club. Jaclyn Impsen, a 5’4 defender from Jenks, Oklahoma. Impsen played for Jenks High School and the Tulsa soccer club. Melissa Noble, a 5’2 midfielder from Plano, Texas. Noble played for Plano West High School and the Solar soccer Club. Nikki Ganter, a 5’2 forward from Garland, Texas. Nikki played for Naaman Forest High School and the Genesis soccer club. Amber Aparicio, a 5’3 midfielder from Allen, Texas. Aparicio played for Allen High School and the Genesis soccer club. Coach Thoma commented about the signing of these athletes, “our first season of competition in 2002 resulted in 7 wins and 2 losses and with the addition of these athletes, I am excited about next season’s possibilities. These athletes bring talents to our squad that will improve our overall team strength.”
