(May 24, 2004) — (Little Rock-AP) -- Vice President Dick Cheney is expected in Little Rock today to speak at a reception for the 2004 State Victory Committee, which raises funds for Republican candidates. The visit is Cheney's second to the state this month and part of the Bush administration's re-election blitz in Arkansas, considered a battleground state in the November election. Cheney also spoke in Bentonville on May third and his wife, Lynne Cheney, appeared in Springdale the same day that President Bush was in Fort Smith on May 11th. The Federal Aviation Administration said airspace in the Little Rock area will be restricted for several hours today at the request of the Secret Service.
