Incoming Freshmen to Come to Campus

Siloam Springs, Ark. (June 10, 2004) — Over 200 students and their parents will flock to the John Brown University campus next week to participate in the Early Registration Program (ERP), June 18-19. Admissions officials estimate half of the incoming freshmen class will participate in this year’s ERP. Students will get the chance to eat, sleep and experience JBU and its top-notch faculty and staff for two days. Students and parents will enjoy the humorous entertainment of national speaker, Kenn Kington. Kington will speak to students about the transition from high school to college. For the first time at ERP, incoming freshmen will have the opportunity to visit a majors’ fair in the J. Alvin atrium. Faculty from each major will be available to talk with the future students and their parents. It will also be a great opportunity for those students who haven’t made a decision on their major to get more information that will help them be one step closer to declaring a major. For more information on ERP visit www.jbu.edu/admissions/erp/index.asp. John Brown University is a top-tier private university, ranked 11th by U.S. News & World Report in the Southern Region.
