Siloam Springs, Ark. (February 8, 2005) — Join Washington Junior High’s Chorale from Bentonville as they perform in John Brown University’s Cathedral of the Ozarks on Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 7:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call the JBU music office at (479) 524-7382. Washington Junior High was chosen to perform at the All-State Music Conference in Hot Springs on Feb. 18. Each year, one collegiate, high-school, and junior-high group are invited to sing at this conference. Seven groups of students make up the school’s eighth and ninth grade choirs under the direction of Mr. Clint Pianalto. One of the groups comprised of the Bel Canto and Advanced Men choirs will perform at All-State and JBU. At JBU, the choir will sing seven selections on the theme: “Life’s Lessons.” John Brown University is a private Christian university, ranked eighth by U.S. News & World Report in the Southern Region. JBU enrolls more than 1,900 students from 43 states and 40 countries. JBU is a member of Arkansas’ Independent Colleges and Universities and the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.
