JBU Instrumental Ensemble to Perform
Siloam Springs, Ark. (April 14, 2005) — The John Brown University Instrumental Ensemble will present a mini-concert on Wednesday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. in John Brown University’s Walker Gathering Area. The event is free and open to the public. Three small groups will perform: a mixed quintet consisting of flute, violin, clarinet, French horn, and bass clarinet; a flute quintet; and a flute quartet. Selections of many composers from Bach to Gershwin will be performed. John Brown University is a private Christian university, ranked eighth by U.S. News & World Report in the Southern Region. JBU enrolls more than 1,900 students from 43 states and 39 countries. JBU is a member of Arkansas’ Independent Colleges and Universities and the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.
