Siloam Springs, Ark. (May 19, 2005) - Samantha Rogoff, of Rogers, Arkansas, has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball for John Brown University. Samantha is a 6’ middle hitter, who is transferring from Poplar Bluff Community College. Sam also played for Rogers High School, graduating in 2003. “When Samantha played for Rogers, I could always count on her to be the kind of leader that leads by example. She would always do the right thing,” says high school coach Jeana Breedlove. Samantha led in kills and blocks at Rogers High School, and was an all-state and all-conference player. “Sam brings collegiate experience, which will definitely help her compete for playing time. She has a lot of power and we are excited to see her join our team”, says JBU Coach Robyn Gordon. Samantha is the daughter of Bill and Polly Trotter and Robert Rogoff.
