WW II Veteran Speaks to JBU

Siloam Springs, Ark. (October 25, 2005) — John Brown University will host Major-General Fred Haynes for a special presentation on his experiences during World War II on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the Jones Recital Hall in the Cathedral of the Ozarks. The community is welcome to attend this event.

General Haynes will reflect on his experiences at Iwo Jima during World War II. Following his remarks, he will be interviewed about his involvement in the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. This event is sponsored by the Siloam Springs War Veterans Project at JBU.
