Siloam Springs, Ark. (November 7, 2006) - The John Brown Golden Eagles defeated the Mid-America Christian Evangels 87-63 on Tuesday night in Murray Sells Gymnasium. Adam Workman led all scorers with 17 points after converting on 6 of 14 field goal attempts. Workman also had nine boards, and five assists.
The Golden Eagles took a 13 point lead into the lockers, and went on a 20-9 run to open the second half. They shot 59 percent from the field for the game including 41 percent from 3-point range. The Golden Eagles also out rebounded the Evangels 40-29.
John Brown also got a huge lift from its bench with 11 points, 4 rebounds coming from freshman, Davaughn Jackson, and junior Joel Tesis adding 12 points in less than 10 minutes played.
