Siloam Springs, Ark. (February 5, 2007) - John Brown men’s basketball couldn’t overcome an impressive first half from Oklahoma Baptist and fell 62-72 on Monday night. Tre Griffin led the Bison with 18 points while JBU was paced by Adam Workman with a game high 19. Mike Fraser also pitched in 16 points and 12 boards for the Bison.
In a game originally scheduled to take place on Dec. 2, the Bison shot 57 percent from the floor including 11-of-18 from beyond the arc. OBU won the rebounding battle 32-30, but JBU improved in the turnover column, by only committing 12 for the game.
John Brown (13-10, 4-7) remains winless on the road in conference play and hopes to break that streak when they travel to west Texas to take on Lubbock Christian on Thursday and Wayland Baptist on Saturday.
