Henderson, Ark. (November 12, 2007) — In only the second meet of the season, John Brown swimmer Gabrielle McCully has already set the stage to what could be an early sign of things to come for the senior from Overland Park, Kansas.

At the Henderson (Ark.) State Invitational over the weekend, McCully qualified for nationals in both the 400 yard individual medley and 500 yard freestyle. In the 400 yard IM, she placed third with a time of 5:02.11. And in the 500 yard freestyle she finished fifth with a time of 5:38.69.
