Men’s Soccer Signs Juco Transfer

Siloam Springs, Ark. (April 9, 2008) — Evan Green, a junior college transfer from Kansas City, Mo., has signed a national letter of intent to play men’s soccer for JBU in the fall.

The 5-7, 145 pound Green transfers to JBU after serving as captain of the Maple Woods Community College (Mo.) soccer squad. As a sophomore, he started in all 15 games where he tallied five goals and six assists at the midfield position. Head coach Bob Gustavson said that he’s excited to have Green join the program and knows his experience will benefit the team right away.

“He’s an experienced player who always gives his best,” said Gustavson. “And his leadership skills should fit in well here at JBU.”

Green plans to major in construction management.
