Men’s Soccer Adds One More to Fall Roster

Siloam Springs, Ark. (April 22, 2008) — Joshua Baldwin, a 5-10, 145 pound outside midfielder from Camdenton (Mo.) High School, has committed to play men’s soccer for JBU in the fall.

Baldwin comes to JBU after earning first team all-conference, first team all-district, and first-team all-region honors during his senior campaign. After leading his team in goals and assists at the outside mid position, Baldwin was also named to the Southwest Missouri All-Star Game. Head coach Bob Gustavson said that Baldwin is a very quick player with good technique, and he expects him to do well at John Brown University.

“Josh has been team mates with incoming freshman Chris Byington so I am hoping that their familiarity on the field will help us this fall,” said Gustavson. “He’s always played at the highest level along the way, and I have no doubt that he will excel here at JBU.”
