Annual Student Works Exhibit at JBU

Siloam Springs, Ark. (March 5, 2009) — John Brown University is pleased to announce the annual showcase of student works. The exhibit will run Monday, March 9 through Friday, March 20 in the gallery of the Art building. An awards reception will be held on Friday, March 13 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Students participating in the exhibit are from a variety of majors, not just visual arts. The featured art work will be organized into six different categories including; drawing, painting, graphic design, photography, cinema, and interactive design/2D animation. Students will be competing for prizes that will be awarded during the opening night of the exhibit. The Art Gallery is located in JBU’s art building on the main campus in Siloam Springs. Normal gallery hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Sunday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. All gallery exhibits are free and open to the public.
