N. Little Rock, Ark. (September 22, 2009) — The JBU men’s golf team shot a second round score of 290 to finish with a two day total of 587, which was good enough to secure fifth place in the Harding (Ark.) Bison Fall Classic.

Central Baptist (Ark.) finished in the top spot after shooting 11 under on day two.

Individually, West Loveland finished in fifth place after shooting a four-under-par 68 on day two. He finished with a two-day total of 138. Junior Jeff Hobble followed up his first round 83 with a one-over-par 73, and freshman Taylor Mullings shot a 75 to finish in the top three for the Golden Eagles.

The team will conclude their fall schedule on Oct. 5 when they travel to Salina, Kan. to participate in the Bethany College Fall Invitational.
