Record Number of Students to Attend Early Registration

Siloam Springs, Ark. (June 10, 2010) — John Brown University will welcome its largest group of participants ever to the Early Registration Program (ERP), June 11-12. Over 250 students and their parents will come to campus to get a head start on the fall semester.

“The fun-filled weekend is designed to give students a taste of what school will be like in the fall,” Don Crandall, vice president of enrollment. “Students will meet with their faculty advisor, register for classes, explore campus and participate in group activities.”

Students and parents will enjoy the humorous entertainment of national speaker Kenn Kington. Kington will address students on the transition from high school to college. This is the 10th year for Kington to speak to the incoming students.

One of the new activities added to the schedule is “Bowling for Books.” The highest score from each category (male student, female student, parents) will receive a $100 book voucher to the JBU bookstore.

Faculty from each major will be available to talk with the future students and their parents during a majors’ fair.
