Paul Eldridge Joins JBU as Director of Development

Siloam Springs, Ark (February 27, 2003) — John Brown University is pleased to announce Paul Eldridge as Director of Development and Planned Giving. Eldridge is a 1992 graduate of JBU and a 1998 graduate of Trinity Law School, Trinity International University, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree. He also has a master’s degree in International Human Rights from Simon Greenleaf University.

As Director of Development and Planned Giving, Eldridge will be responsible to articulate the university’s unchanged mission and current vision to alumni and friends of the university as well as to major and prospective donors. He will also provide seminars and workshops locally and throughout the U.S. on the benefits of estate planning and charitable giving. Eldridge will also be responsible to hire, train and supervise four Regional Directors.

Eldridge graduated from JBU in 1992 with a degree in Secondary Education. He and his wife, Laurie, also a 1992 JBU graduate, returned to California, where he taught middle school for two years. He then attended Trinity Law School, Trinity International University, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree and a master’s degree in International Human Rights in 1998. He practiced law in Temecula, California for 4 and a half years. The law firm he was with specialized in real estate, business and estate planning.

Eldridge, his wife, and their two children returned to Siloam Springs to rejoin the JBU community in February 2003. “I’m thrilled about being back at JBU,” Eldridge said. “I believe strongly in the university’s mission. I experienced profound growth here as a student, and Laurie and I feel privileged to be involved with JBU in this way.”
