Jodi Knack scored JBU's game winning goal in a 2-1 win over Baker on Friday afternoon.

Baldwin City, Kan. (September 17, 2010) — The 19th ranked JBU women’s soccer team overcame a 1-0 halftime deficit to defeat Baker (Kan.) 2-1 in Baldwin City, Kansas.

Jordan Doblin put Baker (5-2) ahead in the first half after scoring off a free kick in the 34th minute.

JBU (3-0-1) responded in the second half and tied it up after senior Robyn Cluka rebounded her own missed shot and put it away in the 48th minute. The game seemed headed to overtime until JBU’s senior Jodi Knack gave JBU a one goal lead in the 88th minute after scoring off a throw in from the near side.

JBU returns to action on Saturday when they travel to Olathe, Kan. to take on Mid-America Nazarene at 1 p.m.
