Soderquist Center to Host "Doing Virtuous Business"

Siloam Springs, Ark. (September 29, 2010) — The Soderquist Center for Leadership and Ethics and John Brown University will together host a screening of the soon-to-be released PBS Documentary, Doing Virtuous Business, on Monday, November 15, 2010. Immediately following the screening, The Soderquist Center will host a discussion with a panel including Don Soderquist, Bill Pollard, and John Tyson.

Doing Virtuous Business spotlights more than a dozen inspirational business success stories, featuring unprecedented access to many of the most celebrated and influential entrepreneurs and chief executives throughout the world. This one-hour program takes a modern look at ancient virtues once studied by Aristotle and many of the great minds in spiritual history and then examines how these deeply respected concepts and beliefs are practiced within a modern business environment.

The event will be held in the new Berry Performing Arts Center on the campus of John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR. Prior to the screening, there will be a reception at 6:30 pm. The panel discussion will begin immediately following the close of the documentary.
