Siloam Springs, Ark. (October 1, 2010) — The JBU women’s volleyball team loss 3-1 (25-11, 23-25, 22-25, 18-25) to Wayland Baptist (Texas) on Friday night in Bill George Arena. The loss drops the ladies to 11-8 overall and 2-2 in the SAC.

Offensively, sophomore Erin Didier paced JBU with 13 kills while junior Allie Rankin added 11. Senior Amber Wilson had 10. Senior Alyssa Hanson tallied 37 assists.

Defensively, junior Sarah Jordan collected 27 digs and freshman Staci Williamson had 15. Rankin led the team with six blocks.

For Wayland Baptist (8-6, 2-2), Kate Trejos led the match with 14 kills.

Up next, JBU returns home to face Lubbock Christian (Texas) at 1 p.m. and Huston-Tillotson (Texas) at 5 p.m. on Saturday. LCU and HTU will face-off at 3 p.m.
