Siloam Springs, Ark. (November 2, 2010) — The JBU men’s basketball team improved to 2-0 on the year after defeating Bacone College (Okla.) 95-65 on Tuesday night in Bill George Arena.

Andrius Mikutis finished with a game high 21 points and eight boards to lead JBU, and Coleson Rakestraw added 15. Sam Bartlett and Adrian Miller also finished in double digits with 11 and 10 points respectively. For Bacone (0-1), Chad Tyler had 13 to lead the Warriors.

Overall, JBU shot 48% (30-62) from the floor and was 88% (29-33) from the charity stripe, while BC was 47% (25-53) overall.

JBU dominated the glass, outrebounding the Warriors 46-29 and managed to force 19 turnovers while committing 16.

JBU continues non-conference play at home on Friday against Ecclesia College (Ark.) at 7 p.m.
