Oliver Named Who's Who In America
Siloam Springs, Ark (May 2, 2001) — Dr. Gary Oliver, executive director of the Center for Marriage and Family Studies and Professor of Psychology and Practical Theology at John Brown University, has been named to Who’s Who in America® for the second year in a row.
Dr. Oliver is a clinical member and an Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He also serves on the Executive Board of the American Association of Christian Counselors, is a certified Family Life Educator and licensed Psychologist. Oliver has over thirty years of experience in individual, marital and family counseling. He has also authored more than 10 books, including Made Perfect in Weakness, Good Women Get Angry, and Men Have Feelings Too.
In 1998, Dr. Oliver left his position as clinical director of a large professional counseling service in Denver, Col. to head up JBU’s newly established Center for Marriage and Family Studies.
