Women's Soccer Brings in Top Recruits

The JBU women's soccer team will add eight new players to the fall roster.

Siloam Springs, Ark. (April 6, 2011) — The JBU women’s soccer program today announced the names of eight players that will don the blue and gold next fall.

The list of players includes the following:

Laura Garcia, 5-1 Forward – Dallas, Texas

  • Skyline High School
  • Played for Dallas Texas ’93 Red West
  • Parents – Jose and Sonia Garcia
  • Intended Major: Biology

Danielle Avis, 5-5 Midfielder/Forward – Tulsa, Okla.

  • Metro Christian Academy
  • Played for Hurricane Futbol Club
  • Parents – Tim and Pat Avis
  • Intended Major: Pre-Med/Biology

Haylee Massey, 5-9 Defender – Sand Springs, Okla.

  • Charles Page High School
  • Parents – Darren and Wendy Massey
  • Intended Major: Sports Medicine

Rachel Harris, 5-10 Defender – Owasso, Okla.

  • Owasso High School
  • Played for Blitz United ’93 Navy
  • Parents – Saundra and Tom Harris
  • Intended Major: Sports Medicine

Casey O’Brien – 5-6 Forward, Fayetteville, Ark.

  • Fayetteville High School
  • Played for Arkansas Comets Futbol Club
  • Parents – Patrick and Tammie O’Brien
  • Intended Major: Engineering

Madi Susmilch, 5-9 Midfielder, Tulsa, Okla.

Adrienne Kennedy, 5-4 Midfielder/Forward, Siloam Springs, Ark.
