Women's Basketball Signs Mannford Standout

Siloam Springs, Ark. (April 15, 2011) — Lauren Rogers, a 5-4 guard from Mannford (Okla.) High School, has signed a letter of intent to play women’s basketball for JBU next year.

During her senior year at Mannford, Rogers scored more than 500 points averaging over 22 points per game.  She led her team in scoring while reaching the double digit mark in every game, which included three 30 point outings and scoring 20 or more points on 17 separate occasions.

Rogers was also recently an all-state selection and will represent Mannford in games this summer.

The daughter of David and Sherri Rogers, Lauren has a 4.0 GPA and is interested in majoring in pre-med or sports medicine.
