Batesville, Ark. (October 19, 2011) — The JBU women's volleyball team defeated Lyon (Ark.) 3-1 (25-16, 23-25, 25-16, 25-18) in non-conference action on Tuesday night in Batesville. With the win, the ladies improve to 16-11 overall.

Offensively, junior Erin Didier paced the Lady Eagles with 17 kills.  Sophomore Erin McIlroy added 12, and senior Allie Rankin had nine.  Sophomore setter Kailey Bain tossed up 25 assists, followed by junior Aubrey Adams with 12.

Defensively, senior libero Sarah Jordan collected 19 digs and sophomore Staci Williamson had 17.  Rankin and McIlroy both had four blocks. 

Jordan also had three aces followed by Didier and McIlroy with two a piece.

Up next, the ladies travel to Texas to take on Wayland Baptist on Friday night at 7 p.m. before heading to Lubbock to challenge Lubbock Christian on Saturday at 1 p.m.
