The Lady Eagles broke through with a 87-72 win against Oklahoma Christian (7-10, 2-8), giving JBU a season record of 9-9, 3-7 in conference.

Junior Anna Parish with 18 points was the highest scorer of the game followed by fellow junior Jessica Berlin with 17 and freshman Lauren Rogers with 13.  Freshman Morgan Ankrom had the most rebounds of the game with nine followed by senior Brittany Hopper with eight. 

Sophomore Kortni Barenberg had six assists for the team high, one more then Oklahoma Christian's team total of five assists.

For Oklahoma Christian, Katy Clift and Taylor Ward both had 16 points followed Katy O'Steen with 11.  McKee also had eight rebounds.

The Lady Eagles began the game in the lead and did not give it up the entire game, with their highest lead being 20 points in the first half.  Oklahoma Christian attempted to fight back, at one time cutting JBU's lead to seven points in the first half, though JBU was able to come back and win the game 15 points in the lead.

The Lady Eagles will play again on Thursday on the road against Wayland Baptist at 6 pm.
