Lady Eagles finish at home with a blowout, beating the University of Science of Arts of Oklahoma Lady Drovers 84-48 Thursday evening.

JBU advances to an overall record of 15-14, 9-12 in conference play. USAO drops to an overall record of 5-23, 2-19 in the SAC.

Red-shirt sophomore Jessica Berlin led JBU sinking 28 total points with six 3-pointers. Junior Anna Parish added 18 points followed by senior Brittany Hopper with eight. Sophomore Kortni Barenberg led the Lady Eagles in rebounds with six. Sophomore Sierra Shipley, Berlin and Parish all finished with three assists.

For USAO, Natalie Colton led the Lady Drovers in points with 13, followed by Liberty Payne and Tashina Ototivo with eight. Whitney Null and Ototivo both grabbed seven rebounds, followed by Colton with five. Lauren Camp and Paige Pulliam held two assists each.

JBU quickly took the lead early in the first half and held it throughout. Starting at the 12:45 mark, JBU began a 20-1 run with a three-pointer made by Anna Parish. By halftime, JBU was able to hold a 25 point lead with a score of 42-17.

At the beginning of the second half, JBU continued to extend their lead. JBU sparked a 20-7 run at the 11:43 mark resulting in a 47-point lead; this was the Lady Eagles' highest lead in the game. After that, only USAO added to the board dropping the deficit to 36 points before ending with a final score of 84-48.

Overall, JBU had a higher scoring percentage from the three-point line with 41.9 percent (13-of-31) to USAO's 7.1 percent (1-of-14). JBU also had a higher scoring percentage from field goal range with 51.7 percent (30-of-58) to USAO's 33.3 percent (20-of-60). JBU out-rebounded SNU 37 to 35.

Up next, the Lady Eagles head to Oklahoma to play Southern Nazarene University's Crimson Storm at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25 for their final game of regular season.
