Siloam Springs, Arkansas (February 28, 2012) — John Brown University students are showing off their talent in the art exhibit, “The Student Works Show” in the JBU Art Gallery. The exhibit will run through Friday, March 16.

The theme this year is “Let Your Art Take Flight”.  The exhibit will feature the artwork of current students in the areas of cinema, graphic & web design, commercial photography, non-commercial photography, digital art (2D, 3D and motion graphics), painting, printmaking and illustration.

“This is always an exciting collection of work and really highlights the creativity and high technical skill of our students, said Charles Peer, director of the Art Gallery. “It’s visual evidence of why the graduates from our department stand out in their fields as true emerging artists and designers.”

The JBU Art Gallery is located in JBU’s art building on the main campus in Siloam Springs. Normal gallery hours are Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday afternoon from 2 p.m.-4 p.m.  All gallery exhibits are free and open to the public.
