Siloam Springs, Arkansas (March 29, 2012) — Former Siloam Springs High School volleyball player Meghan Kenney will be a Lady Golden Eagle netter next year after transferring to JBU in January.

Kenney, who played the last two seasons at Southern Wesleyan University in Central, S.C. as a defensive specialist, was a part of a Siloam Springs High School volleyball program that won three consecutive state titles during her time there.

“There are a lot of perks to being back home,” said Kenney.  “But overall, I’m just looking forward to add my experiences of playing in the SSAC (Southern States Athletic Conference) to the team.  Several of the teams in the SSAC are top contenders and make it to nationals on a yearly basis.  So, having played against that competition has prepared me for the teams in the Sooner Athletic Conference.”

Meghan, the daughter of Mike and Barb Kenney, is majoring in business administration.
