Wesley Clark decision in next week...or so
(August 28, 2003) — (Undated-AP) -- A decision about a run for president from retired Army General Wesley Clark is expected in the next week or two. If he enters the primary, the former NATO commander and Little Rock resident would become the tenth Democratic candidate. Clark has been making speeches, traveling the country and working on his book, "Winning Modern Wars." It's to be released this fall. Clark has said he's considering the race, though he also says he's not a member of a political party and not raising money. The Arkansas businessman has been talking about a possible candidacy for months. Supporters have formed Internet sites to encourage him to run.
