JBU Theatre Presents the Diary of Ann Frank

Siloam Springs, Ark (April 2, 2002) — John Brown University Theatre will present the dramatic Broadway theatre production, The Diary of Anne Frank, an original play by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett. The production will be performed in the Jones Recital Hall on the John Brown University campus on April 4, 5, and 6 at 7 pm and on April 7 at 3 pm.

The theatre production features John Brown University students and one alumnus and recounts the story of Anne Frank, a young German Jewish girl who reflects in her diary on her experience with the Nazi-occupation in Amsterdam during World War II.

The theatre production will be the directional debut of Jason Hough, who called the production “a play that reminds us that even during the worst of times people can be at their best.” The production lasts one hour and forty-five minutes and features a ten-minute intermission.

Tickets for the event are on sale for $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and $3 for students and can be obtained through the JBU ticket box office at 524-7382.
