JBU SIFE Students Appear on “America Talks”

Siloam Springs, Ark. (October 22, 2009) – Members of the John Brown University Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team participated in the question-and-answer talk show, “America Talks,” on Monday, Oct. 12.

The students discussed “Open Doors,” a SIFE project in the Washington County Detention Center. Senior Ericka Carrasco explained the outreach to adults in the detention center, junior Bethany Kiehlbauch presented the outreach to the Juvenile Detention Center, and senior Kieran Kentish shared about an effort to assist in ex-offender reintegration.

The JBU SIFE team has been featured on “America Talks” a number of times over the last couple of years. “America Talks” is a production of SafeTV in Springdale, Ark. The show was broadcast live via the Internet at www.safetv.org and on SkyAngel cable television.

“America Talks” has reached more than 13 million homes throughout the world by its affiliation with the SkyAngel network.
