How to Join the Competition
Step 1: Submit your application for entry by filling out a letter of intent. All applications for entry (letters of intent) are due by November 15, 2012. Candidates will be chosen from the submitted letters by no later than November 30, 2012.
Step 2: Check out the scoring matrix to see how your design will be judged and evaluated.
Step 3: If your team is selected, you will be notified by Friday, November 30.
Step 4: Once you have been selected, you must register for the competition by Wednesday, January 31, 2013.
Step 5: Once registered, you must submit a project report to the competition judges by no later than Friday, March 30, 2013. The report must include design specifications of the proto-type and an explanation of how it meets the design parameters.
Step 6: Bring your shelter proto-type to JBU for testing and evaluation by the competition judges.
